The Indian Institute of Petroleum (IIP), established in 1960, is one of the 37 constituent laboratories of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), dedicated to R&D in the hydrocarbon sector.
Positions :- Technical Assistant/ Technician (1)
Job Location :- DEHRADUN
Salary :-
- Technical Assistant [Group-III(2)] Group – B: Rs. 35,400/- to 1,12,400/-
- Technician(1) [Group-II(1)] Group – C: Rs. 19,900/- to 63,200/-
Qualification & Experience :-
- For Technical Assistant: Degree / Diploma in relevant trade.
- For Technician: Matriculation (10th) passed + Certificate from ITI in relevant trade.
Experience: 0 – 3 Years

- Technical Assistant [Group-III(2)] Group – B: 07 Posts
- Technician(1) [Group-II(1)] Group – C: 07 Posts
Selection Process :-
- The candidates, as recommended by the Screening Committee, will be invited for a Trade/Skill test in the relevant area.
- Those who qualify in the Trade/Skill test will be invited for a competitive OMR/Computer-based objective-type multiple-choice examination, which will consist of three papers, viz. Paper I, II & III.
- Paper I will be qualifying in nature.
The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in Paper II & III. - Paper II & III will be evaluated only for those candidates who secure the minimum threshold marks (to be determined by the Selection Committee) in Paper I.
